Workshop: Recruitment masterclass - bringing in fresh talent

There are 6.8 million disabled people of working age in the UK, about 20% of all available talent.

With less than half of this total currently in employment, and at least one million actively seeking work, there is a clear need to target this latent talent market.

The 2007 Disability Standard benchmark results show that UK employers are struggling to attract and engage people with disabilities. Seventy eight per cent of participants showed they are taking positive action to attract disabled job applicants but only 20% reported that this is working effectively.

We are rerunning this highly interactive and structured masterclass due to popular demand from EFD members. It will give you the inspiration and skills to access talented disabled job seekers.

Through a combination of expert speakers and facilitators, this training will explore the recruitment cycle, as well as relationships with recruitment suppliers.

Our trainers for the day include Simon Minty, EFD Associate and Director Minty and Friend, and Kate Headley, Director, The Clear Company.
