EFD responds to regional demand for employment law training
26th September 2008
Following the success of our Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) Employment Masterclasses in London, EFD has responded to member demand and is running this event in Birmingham for the first time. The training will be on on Friday 3 October - and in celebration of this occasion we are offering a '3 for 2' offer on all bookings.
It is imperative for employers to be regularly updated on the law and legislation as it is continually developing. Recent court cases such as Malcolm v Lewisham LBC have implications for employers on all levels and will be discussed at this Masterclass along with other high-profile and recent cases.
The intimate nature of this event gives delegates the have the opportunity to discuss current DDA legislation and seek advice from Bela Gor, Head of Legal Policy of EFD, and one of the UK's leading experts on DDA case law. Sharing best practice with other EFD members is also a substantial benefit, discussing real-life situations and solutions while maintaining 'Chatham house rules'.
- EFD members can read a briefing about the Malcolm case here.
