2012 Inclusion Network Event
Network event
Location: London (Further details)
Hosted by: London Development Agency
We are delighted to announce the next meeting of Employers' Forum on Disability (EFD) 2012 Inclusion Network, hosted by the London Development Agency. We want to ensure that the London 2012 Olympics Games and Paralympics Games will be barrier-free for those who want to attend and participate and will set new standards for services, facilities and opportunities for disabled people in the future.
In January 2007, EFD appointed Viral Desai, on secondment from KPMG, as the first 2012 Inclusion Network coordinator. Since joining, Viral has met with numerous stakeholders both in EFD and in organisations involved with the 2012 Games, to determine key areas of focus and direction for the Network.
The focus of this latest event will be to provide members with:
- An update on the 2012 Inclusion Network and draft agenda
- Details of key employment and skills initiatives in connection with 2012
- Discussion on how some of the Forum members are preparing themselves for some of the opportunities presented by the London 2012 Games
- A forum for discussion on the future focus and objectives of the Network
If you would like to attend this event, please contact Kelly Hsueh on 020 7403 3020 or at kelly.hsueh@employers-forum.co.uk in the Events department.
Once your attendance is confirmed, further details including full joining instructions will be sent out prior to the event.
Please note that due to the high level of interest in the Network we can only accept one person per member company to attend and this will be on a first come first served basis.
