Workshop

Location: Bristol (Further details)

Hosted by: University of Bristol

This is information about a past event

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) requires employers to make adjustments in the workplace, both to the physical environment and working arrangements, if they make it difficult for a disabled person to do their job.

Whether it be a change to sickness absence policy, a flexible working agreement or an adaptation to a workstation, an adjustment is anything that you do to make it easier for an employee to continue working for you.

Our members commonly ask us: 'How do I know what is reasonable?' This event, already successfully run in London, will enable you to address this issue by working through different scenarios, taken from queries to our helpline, to bring the subject area to life. This event will equip delegates with the knowledge to make informed decisions when making reasonable adjustments in the workplace.
