Royal Bank of Scotland scoop Remploy award

Employers' Forum on Disability Gold Card member Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has scooped a national award for its work supporting and employing disabled people.

RBS won the corporate award in this year's Remploy leading the way awards, the UK's longest-running disability employment accolades.

Key achievements by RBS include introducing an online disability awareness training programme for all employees.

For the second year running, Forum member Leicestershire County Council won the large business award. Its Breaking the Barriers employment team delivers Workstep, the Jobcentre Plus programme to support disabled people back into work.

Commendations were also given at the awards to BT.
