EFD board grows with new additions from NHS and Barclays

Employers' Forum on Disability (EFD) is delighted to announce two new board members.

Steve Barnett, Director NHS Employers and Jonathan Britton, Chief Financial Controller Barclays join EFD to help provide top-level leadership and advice.

NHS Employers' Director Steve Barnett says: “I am delighted to have been appointed to the board of the Employers' Forum on Disability, an organisation that plays such a vital role in setting the standard for disability best practice in the UK.

“NHS Employers has a great deal to contribute to the work of EFD and the disability agenda more broadly.

“As the largest employer in the UK, it is essential that the NHS works proactively to promote equality for disabled people.”

Jonathan Britton, Chief Financial Controller says: “I am delighted to be joining the board of Employers' Forum on Disability.

“As a parent of a child with severe learning difficulties I have a personal interest in the work of EFD. Barclays is a keen supporter of the objectives of EFD and I am pleased to have been asked to contribute to that support.”
